The Gay Project Cork needs your support.

By making a purchase at The Other Place cafe, you help keep this vital resource centre open for the various community groups and services which make use of the centre…without The Other Place, these groups could not hope to exist.

Larger donations have a variety of impacts across the Gay Project Cork–

• More resources for the Youth Group and the School programme, which helps a larger audience of gay men through a wider array of methods.
• Greater marketing leverage for the Health Services, which educates and cautions the LGBT community against STI’s and other sexual health issues, as well as those mental health areas to which gay men are particularly susceptible–depression, anxiety, substance abuse, etc.
• A better developed presence in the community for LGBT-related events, businesses, and services. The LGBT community, while not ‘mainstream’ in and of itself, is being included more and more in today’s society. By doing this in the right ways, we pave the way towards universal acceptance and total equality in the future.
